About Me
Who am I?
I’m a psychotherapist / counsellor in Wishaw and Motherwell. I offer support to women in person and across the UK through online sessions. My work is shaped by both professional experience and personal insight. I know firsthand the emotional reality of infertility, pregnancy, and the challenges of early motherhood.

After my own journey through infertility and postpartum depression, I learned that self-compassion and honest support are not luxuries, they’re essential. That understanding shapes how I work with every woman who sits across from me, whether she’s navigating fertility treatment, pregnancy anxiety, the transition to life as a new mum or something else.

Learning self-compassion changed everything. It’s what drives me now - walking alongside women who feel lost in that same space, reminding them they’re not broken, they’re human. There is hope. You will feel differently. This won’t last forever.

I’m not here for surface-level conversation. I’m here for what’s real - the stories behind the smiles, the grief behind the strength, the truth you’ve been carrying quietly for too long.

My clients often say they feel at ease with me quickly. That’s because I listen with genuine curiosity and care. I don’t just hear your words - I see you. Your fears, your resilience, your protective patterns, and the part of you that’s ready to grow.

Together, we’ll gently uncover what’s keeping you stuck - including the coping strategies that once helped you survive but now hold you back. Bit by bit, we’ll create space for the version of you that’s been waiting underneath: grounded, open, and whole.

I’ll walk with you through the messy middle - the tears, the laughter, the uncomfortable truths. Therapy isn’t about being fixed. It’s about being honest, being human, and finding a way forward that feels real.

If you’re ready to stop hiding the struggle and start transforming it, I’m ready to walk beside you.

Experience & Qualifications
My experience
Over the past 20 years, I’ve supported adults through change across a wide range of settings - from forensic and recovery services to employee wellbeing, counselling centres, and perinatal care.

I currently work for a perinatal charity part time, and opened my private practice in 2025.

My experience has taught me one essential truth: no two stories are the same. My role isn’t to fit you into a model, it’s to meet you exactly where you are and walk with you toward where you want to be.
